I am sorry but I had to post this…And I almost believed people who say boys are slower than girls in this aspect! Ha!
Apparently Noah has been fascinated by babies lately. He has been asking dad to read to him the “I am a big brother” book, more than once now.
Here is a conversation between Noah and I on our way to school yesterday morning:
Noah: “Mom, I want another baby!”
Mom (taken completely by surprise): “You do? We will work on that later, ok? Like, later later, like, 4 years from now…”
(Pause)
Noah: “Mom, how do we make a baby?”
Mom (dumbfounded): “Daddy and I can make one for you, with lots of love!”
Noah: “…But hooooow!?!”
Mom: “Daddy and I love each other so much, we work together and make one!”
(Pause…by then I sigh in relief…and after a minute…)
Noah: “Can I help make a baby, mommy?!”
I started laughing so hard I could not control!
Mom: “We will work on that one later, ok? And I mean LATER!”
